CELESTIA STAKING WITH ATLAS
Stake TIA noncustodially with Atlas Staking, an independent Celestia validator. Celestia is a modular data availability network, and the stake behind its validators is what keeps blob data ordered and available for everything built on top.
Review live validator status, bonded stake, commission, delegator count and the current unbonding period, read from the chain, before you delegate anything.

YOUR CELESTIA VALIDATOR
Atlas runs one Celestia consensus validator on hardware we own in Amsterdam. Independent validator operations, with no custody of your wallet and no claim on your tokens.
You keep control of your wallet and you authorize your own staking transactions. Delegate directly, verify the validator first, and approve every transaction yourself.

OUR CELESTIA NUMBERS
Atlas runs a Celestia consensus validator that helps secure the network behind Celestia data availability. The live chain check reads active set position, bonded TIA, delegator count, commission and the current unbonding period, so you can verify our standing before you delegate.

UNDERSTAND THE MODULAR NETWORK
Celestia is a modular data availability network. It orders blobs and keeps them available while execution and settlement run on other layers. Start with our own briefings, then confirm the protocol mechanics in Celestia’s documentation.

READ BRIEFING →WHY DELEGATE DIRECTLY?
Support the proof of stake network that orders blobs and keeps data available for modular applications. Here’s what delegating directly actually does.
Your keys stay yours
Atlas never takes custody of your wallet. Delegated TIA stays yours and remains subject to Celestia network rules, and you approve every delegation, reward, redelegation and undelegation transaction.
Choose an independent validator
Delegate to Atlas and support an independent operator in the active validator set. Delegating beyond the largest operators can help distribute voting power across the network.
Help secure data availability
Your delegation contributes to the stake backing Celestia consensus and the data availability that modular applications depend on.
Rewards depend on network issuance, total bonded stake, validator performance and validator commission. Rates change and are never guaranteed.

What is Celestia and what is TIA used for?
Celestia is a modular data availability network. It orders blobs and keeps them available while execution and settlement can run on other layers. TIA is used for proof of stake security, governance, network fees, and paying to publish blob data.
How does staking TIA support Celestia?
Delegating TIA adds stake behind a validator that participates in Celestia consensus. That stake helps secure the proof of stake network responsible for ordering transactions and making blob data available.
How do I stake TIA with the Atlas validator?
Open the Atlas staking button, connect a supported self custody wallet, verify Atlas Staking and the validator address, choose an amount, and approve the delegation transaction. Keep a small amount of TIA liquid for network fees.
Who controls my TIA after I delegate?
You do. Delegation is noncustodial. Atlas operates the validator but does not receive your recovery phrase or take ownership of your tokens. Your wallet approves delegation, reward, redelegation, and undelegation transactions.
How do Celestia staking rewards and validator commission work?
Celestia distributes staking rewards under its onchain rules. A validator deducts its commission from the rewards attributable to its delegators. Commission is not charged against the full delegated balance. Rates can change, so check the live figure above and confirm it in your wallet before acting.
What happens to rewards when I change my TIA delegation?
Under Celestia’s current reward handling, changing a staking position does not automatically claim accrued rewards. Those rewards remain available until you submit a reward withdrawal transaction.
How long does it take to unstake TIA?
The current unbonding period is read from Celestia’s onchain staking parameters and displayed above. During unbonding, the affected TIA cannot be transferred and does not earn staking rewards. Confirm the live value before submitting an undelegation.
What should I consider before choosing a Celestia validator?
Review whether the validator is active in the set, its commission, operating history, governance participation, and contribution to network decentralization. The current Atlas rank, bonded TIA, delegator count and commission above are loaded from the chain.
What are the main risks of staking TIA?
TIA can lose market value, reward rates can change, and bonded tokens are illiquid until unbonding completes. Network rules can impose penalties on validators that fail to meet them. Staking rewards are variable and are not guaranteed.
