NON-CUSTODIAL STAKING WITH ATLAS
Atlas Staking provides blockchain infrastructure for token holders, protocols, and businesses. We run validators, support proof-of-stake networks, and help teams participate in blockchain ecosystems without building validator infrastructure from scratch.
Whether you are delegating your own tokens, launching a network, or looking for validator, RPC, or node infrastructure support, Atlas offers direct communication, flexible support, and competitive pricing from an experienced independent operator.
- Validator operations: Atlas runs validator infrastructure for supported proof-of-stake networks.
- RPC and node infrastructure: We support teams that need blockchain access, validator support, or network-specific infrastructure.
- Non-custodial staking: Delegators keep control of their wallet and private keys when delegating to Atlas validators.
- Operator-level support: Atlas works directly with teams that need a responsive infrastructure partner.
- Efficient cost structure: Atlas owns and operates its hardware, which gives us more room to structure competitive infrastructure pricing.
- Custom deployments: We can support network-specific validator, RPC, or node requirements without forcing every client into the same package.

COMPARE YOUR STAKING OPTIONS
Direct delegation and exchange staking both let crypto holders earn staking rewards, but they work differently. The biggest differences are custody and control, validator choice, ability to participate in on-chain governance, and the flexibility to participate in DeFi. Those are the reasons public blockchains were created, so take advantage!
CUSTODY
AND CONTROL
Delegating with Atlas: You keep control of your wallet and private keys while staking with us.
Staking through an Exchange: The exchange holds custody of your assets inside your exchange account
VALIDATOR
CHOICE
Delegating with Atlas: You choose the independent validators you want to support, like Atlas.
Staking through an Exchange: The exchange decides how and where staking is handled.
COUNTERPARTY
RISK
Delegating with Atlas: You reduce custody risk because you are not handing your assets to Atlas.
Staking through an Exchange: Your assets depend on the exchange’s custody, solvency, security, and policies.
ON-CHAIN
GOVERNANCE
Delegating with Atlas: Direct delegation allows you to vote on governance and network decisions.
Staking through an Exchange: Exchange staking eliminates your ability to participate directly in governance.
DEFI
FLEXIBILITY
Delegating with Atlas: Non-custodial staking allows you to use decentralized exchanges, liquid staking, and many other DeFi options.
Staking through an Exchange: Exchange staking keeps you inside the exchange’s product limits and withdrawal policies.
PROMOTE
DECENTRALIZATION
Delegating with Atlas: You choose independent validators and help distribute stake across the network, creating resilience.
Staking through an Exchange: Large exchanges run their own validators and control networks, which recreates the problems of TradFi.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT DOES NON-CUSTODIAL STAKING MEAN?
Non-custodial staking means you keep control of your private keys while delegating to a validator. Your wallet maintains control of your assets. A validator like us at Atlas, helps secure the network and earns staking rewards for doing so.
DO I GIVE ATLAS CONTROL OF MY CRYPTO?
No. When you delegate to Atlas, you’re not sending us your private keys or giving us custody of your funds. Your tokens have voting power that you assign to us. We use that voting power to verify transactions and secure the network.
WHY DELEGATE INSTEAD OF STAKING THROUGH AN EXCHANGE?
Taking self-custody of your tokens means greater responsibility, but also ultimate flexibility. Be sure to check out our wallet security checklist. Delegating directly lets you keep custody of your assets and choose your validators. Exchange staking may be convenient, but it can add counterparty risk and concentrate more stake with centralized platforms, which is terrible for network security. Centralized exchange validators are actually a real problem. Plus, centralized exchanges usually charge higher commission, so delegating directly can enable you to compound your position faster.
HOW DOES ATLAS STAKING SUPPORT BLOCKCHAIN DECENTRALIZATION?
We run validator infrastructure for proof-of-stake (PoS) networks. When delegators choose independent validators instead of using large centralized platforms like Binance or Coinbase, it helps distribute stake and support network resilience. When stake is concentrated with a group of large validators, they can potentially halt or censor a network. At minimum they can control governance and can shape networks and ecosystems around their own self-interest. A decentralized network is a healthy network.
HOW DO I GET STARTED STAKING?
Choose the network tokens you want to stake, open that network’s page on our site, and follow the delegation steps. Or, find the card above on our homepage and click the “STAKE” button. We’ve made it simple. If you’re unsure where to start, contact us and we can point you to the right staking guide.
HOW DO I GET AN INFRASTRUCTURE QUOTE?
Atlas Staking owns our hardware, hosted in separate data centers in Amsterdam Netherlands. Hosting with us protects you from massive cloud provider outages. Please review our enterprise services page and fill out the contact form. We will get back to you ASAP.
