STARKNET STAKING WITH ATLAS
Stake STRK or supported tokenized Bitcoin with Atlas while keeping control of your wallet. Starknet scales Ethereum with STARK proofs while staking moves the network toward broader validator participation.
ONE VALIDATOR TWO STAKING PATHS
Starknet is a permissionless Ethereum Layer 2 validity rollup. It processes transactions at scale, proves the result with STARK proofs, then settles verified state updates on Ethereum. Its Cairo architecture gives developers native account abstraction and a growing home for DeFi, gaming, and Bitcoin applications.

Delegate without running a validator
STRK holders can delegate with no protocol minimum instead of maintaining the full node and operational infrastructure a validator needs.
Support the path to decentralization
Staking introduces accountable validator participation as Starknet progressively distributes network responsibilities.
Put supported BTC to work
Eligible tokenized BTC can earn STRK rewards through its own pool. Review the wrapper, bridge, issuer, and smart contract risks before you sign.

Starknet staking accepts supported tokenized representations of Bitcoin through separate validator pools. These assets aren’t native BTC. Each wrapper brings its own issuer, bridge, redemption terms, and liquidity assumptions.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ACTUALLY ASK
What is Starknet?
Starknet is an Ethereum Layer 2 validity rollup. It executes transactions away from Ethereum’s base layer, proves their correctness with STARK proofs, and settles verified state changes to Ethereum. Its staking system is part of a gradual transition toward decentralized network responsibilities.
Can I stake STRK with Atlas Staking?
Yes. Open the Starknet page in the Atlas app, connect a supported Starknet wallet, choose an amount, and review the transaction before approving it.
Is there a minimum amount to delegate STRK?
Starknet’s current protocol rules don’t impose a minimum delegation amount. Validators have a separate minimum self stake requirement of 20,000 STRK and must operate a full node.
How long does it take to unstake STRK?
The current protocol applies a seven day lockup after you signal an unstake intent. You won’t earn rewards during the wait, and you can’t withdraw the tokens until it ends. Check the live rule before signing because protocol parameters can change.
Can I switch Starknet validators?
Delegators can signal a validator switch without completing a standard unstake. Under the current phased staking design, the switch takes effect according to epoch timing. Verify the source validator, destination validator, and pending action in your wallet.
How are STRK staking rewards determined?
Starknet distributes newly minted STRK under its current minting curve and staking rules. Your rate depends on network participation, validator performance, commission, and protocol parameters. Rates change and aren’t guaranteed.
Can Bitcoin be staked on Starknet?
Supported tokenized BTC can be delegated through Starknet pools assigned to each validator and earn rewards in STRK. Native BTC doesn’t enter Starknet staking. For a native Bitcoin route, compare the Babylon finality provider path on Atlas’s BitcoinFi page.
Which tokenized Bitcoin assets does Starknet support?
Starknet has supported selected wrappers such as WBTC, tBTC, SolvBTC, and LBTC. The staking protocol controls active token support and can change it. Check the exact asset in the Atlas app before staking.
Does Atlas take custody of my STRK or tokenized BTC?
No. Atlas operates validator infrastructure. You connect your own wallet and approve delegation, reward, switching, and withdrawal transactions. Noncustodial staking doesn’t remove protocol, smart contract, token wrapper, bridge, or market risk.
What should I verify before staking on Starknet?
Verify the official application URL, wallet network, token contract, Atlas validator address, selected pool, commission, validator performance, lockup rules, reward asset, withdrawal process, and every permission shown by your wallet. Never share a recovery phrase.
One validator We’ll take it from there
