ATLAS ON MONAD TESTNET TODAY

Atlas Staking runs a Monad testnet validator. We’re hoping for a place in the Monad mainnet validator set and we’re waiting, so MON delegation to Atlas isn’t open yet. We’d rather tell you that plainly than sell you something we can’t deliver.

What you can do today is read what we’ve written about Monad, why it exists, how it feels to use, and how we think about running a validator on it.

WHERE WE STAND

OUR MONAD POSITION

Atlas is a Monad testnet validator. That means our machines have been producing and validating blocks on Monad’s test network, which is where operators prove they can run the software before a mainnet set opens to them.

We’re hoping to be added to the Monad mainnet validator set. We don’t have a place in it, we don’t have a date, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. When it happens, this page changes and you’ll be able to delegate MON to Atlas from your own wallet.

WHAT WE RUN TODAY

No rank, no bonded stake, no commission figure, because there’s no Atlas mainnet validator to report on yet. Here’s what’s actually true right now.

A HIGH PERFORMANCE EVM LAYER 1

Monad is a high performance, EVM equivalent Layer 1 blockchain. It aims for roughly 10,000 transactions per second, with block times and finality well under a second. Read the network’s own material for the current architecture and protocol rules.

HOW DELEGATION WORKS

WHAT STAKING WILL LOOK LIKE

This is how delegating to an Atlas validator works on the networks where we’re already live, and how it’d work on Monad if we’re added to the mainnet set.

Your tokens stay under your control

Atlas never takes custody of your wallet. You approve every delegation, reward, redelegation, and undelegation transaction.

0202

Choose an independent validator

Delegating beyond the largest operators can help distribute voting power across a network.

0303

Verify before you delegate

Check current public data on any validator, including its status, its fee, and how long unbonding takes, before you approve anything.

Rewards depend on network issuance, total bonded stake, validator performance, and validator fees. Rates change and are never guaranteed.

WALLET SECURITY

KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR KEYS

Before you connect a wallet or approve a staking transaction, review practical checks for domains, permissions, hardware wallet prompts, and recovery information.

MONAD QUESTIONS

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ACTUALLY ASK

Can I stake MON with Atlas today?

No. Atlas runs a Monad testnet validator, not a mainnet one. We’re hoping for a place in the Monad mainnet validator set and we’re waiting. Until that happens there’s nothing to delegate to, and we won’t pretend there is.

What is Monad?

Monad is a high performance, EVM equivalent Layer 1 blockchain. Ethereum builders can move their contracts and dApps over to Monad. It aims for roughly 10,000 transactions per second, with both block times and finality well under a second.

Why would I use Monad instead of Ethereum?

You get Ethereum’s programming model and wallet experience, but with more throughput, lower fees, and a chain that doesn’t choke when a meme coin launches. Our article on why Monad isn’t just another fast chain goes into the design choices behind that.

What does a testnet validator actually do?

It runs the same validator software against Monad’s test network, producing and validating blocks with no real value at stake. It’s where an operator proves the setup works before a mainnet set is open to them.

When will Atlas be on Monad mainnet?

We don’t know, and we’re not going to guess. Selection into a mainnet validator set isn’t ours to decide. Email us and we’ll tell you when it changes.

Who would control my MON if I delegate later?

You would. Delegation doesn’t give Atlas your recovery phrase or ownership of your tokens. Your wallet authorizes every staking transaction, and that doesn’t change.

How are staking rewards calculated?

Rewards depend on current network issuance, total bonded stake, validator performance, and validator fees. Rates can change and aren’t guaranteed.

What else can I stake with Atlas?

Check our homepage for the other tokens you can stake with Atlas. If you don’t see the token you’re looking for, contact us to let us know. We’re constantly adding support for new blockchains and we welcome your feedback.
